Amy DeGregorio Promoted to EVP at Hearst Media Production Group (Exclusive)
Amy DeGregorio has been elevated to the newly created role of executive vice president, sales & revenue for Hearst Media Production Group (HMPG), The Hollywood Reporter has learned. With the promotion, DeGregorio effectively becomes Bryan Curb’s number two.
“Amy has done an exceptional job building meaningful brand partnerships and seamlessly integrating sponsors into our E/I programming,” Curb, the president of HMPG, said in a statement shared with THR. “As HMPG continues to expand, we want to bring that same expertise and strategic approach to our entire portfolio, creating new opportunities for brands to engage with our award-winning content and loyal audiences.”
Curb became president of HMPG when Frank Biancuzzo retired in March.
As senior vice president since 2022, DeGregorio has led HMPG’s sales marketing team and new business-development initiatives, working with national brand advertisers, organizations and foundations, the company says. In her new role, she will serve as a key member of HMPG’s executive leadership team and a strategic advisor to HMPG’s president on revenue growth, commercialization and new business opportunities, driving revenue strategy and overseeing sales and sponsorship activity across the company’s entire portfolio: linear television programming, branded and digital-native content, FAST channels and emerging platforms.
HMPG’s current program portfolio includes 30 original series. Its library counts 6,000 episodes of 85 series.
Prior to her role as senior vice president, managing director of sales for E/I programming, DeGregorio was senior vice president, client solutions for Litton Entertainment. In 2022, Litton Entertainment was rebranded as HMPG. DeGregorio originally joined Litton in 2016 as senior director, integrated marketing — she would be promoted to vice president of the group and then senior vice president of client solutions.
DeGregorio joined Litton from CBS Television Stations, where she was director, strategic and integrated marketing. Prior to CBS, she held roles at NBCUniversal, truTV, ABC Television and MTV Networks. DeGregorio holds a bachelor’s degree in media studies from New York University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
