Home and Away reveals second shock collapse for Eden Fowler

Home and Away will air another worrying development for Eden Fowler this week, following her aplastic anaemia diagnosis. While enjoying the company of her family, Eden suffers a second collapse, leaving everyone fearing the worst.

Eden received her initial diagnosis earlier this month, after collapsing in Salt and being rushed to hospital. There, Cash Newman noticed mysterious bruises on his wife's back, prompting doctors to perform a bone marrow biopsy to determine the issue.

Dr Amelia Carlisle revealed that Eden had aplastic anaemia, explaining that she would need a viable stem cell donor. But according to TVWeek, Eden is more focused on spending quality time with her loved ones...

In upcoming Australian-paced episodes, Cash reluctantly agrees to set up another distanced family gathering for Eden, despite knowing how tired she is from treatment. Eden enjoys the beach picnic with her siblings and dad Jimmy, who has arrived in town.

After noticing Eden dozing off during the lunch, Cash escorts her to the car. The family are horrified when she collapses again, with Levi calling an ambulance for help.

At the hospital, Amelia shares the worrying update that Eden's blood and platelet count is too low, with the treatment impacting her liver and kidneys. Overcome with stress and emotion, Cash breaks down in tears.

Luckily, Eden's friends and neighbours rally together by arranging for a blood donation van to come to Summer Bay. They start spreading the news around town, hoping to find a stem cell donor in time.

Cash is touched by the huge turnout and wants to show Eden just how loved she is. He decides to surprise her by driving past the van on their way home from the hospital. But will they be able to find a viable donor before her condition deteriorates further?

Home and Away drops new episodes on weekdays at 6am on 5’s streaming service with a 6.30pm screening on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
