EuroMillions ticket-holder from the UK hits £111million jackpot in winning Friday night's draw

A lucky EuroMillions ticketholder is now as rich as Harry Kane after bagging the £111million jackpot during Friday night's draw.
The anonymous player - who is Britain's third jackpot winner of the year - was one of 2.8million who participated in the transnational lottery, which sees seven countries across Europe compete for the life-changing cash.
The winner chose numbers 11, 12, 15, 38 and 49 with Lucky Stars 10 and 12 to secure the €130million or £111million Superdraw amount - a sum which had been boosted by almost €100million from the €37.6 million that went unwon three days earlier.
They now have 180 days to claim their money - which tops the England Captain's net worth of £110million - and must decide if they wish to remain anonymous or go public with their story.
The jackpot prize will now reset to approximately £14million for the next draw, which is to be held on Tuesday evening.
Superdraws only take place a few times per year, with the last one taking place in February when the jackpot kept climbing for a couple of weeks until a UK ticket holder won a mammoth £181 million.

The player, who chose to remain anonymous, became richer than global superstar Adele overnight, with the singer worth an estimated £170million.
Andy Carter, of multi-national lottery operator Allwyn, described the win as 'fantastic news' for the player.
He said: 'One lucky ticket-holder has won the life-changing £111m super jackpot prize. Be sure to check your tickets and get in touch if you think you might be tonight's lucky winner.'
The winner joins fellow lucky Brits who have managed to score big in the draw.
Couple Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, bagged £184million with a Lucky Dip ticket on the EuroMillions draw back in 2022, while Scots Colin and Chris Weir won £161million in 2011.
In 2019, Frances and Patrick Connolly, from County Armagh in Northern Ireland, matched all the numbers to scoop the £114.9million New Year's Day EuroMillions jackpot.
