The 37 Top L.A. Real Estate Brokers of 2026

Amid wildfires and global uncertainty, L.A.’s top real estate agents honored on THR‘s annual Power Brokers list have been facing strong headwinds.

“It is definitely a buyer’s market right now,” say Jack Harris and Michael Fahimian. “We believe this is the bottom of the market, and it is only up from here.” Others aren’t so sure. “Sellers who think their homes are worth what they were offered (but didn’t take) during the pandemic or last year when we had a huge influx of fire victims looking to relocate need to readjust to the current market,” says realtor Juliette Hohnen.

These agents powered through the challenges — a few even outperformed 2025 — thanks to social media, innovative partnerships and a love of the game.

The Altman Brothers Team

DOUGLAS ELLIMAN

Reality stars Josh, Matt and Heather Altman and Jacob Greene had another epic year, with more than $1 billion in deals from July 2025 to July 2026. Among the highlights were the local-record-breaking sale of a $25 million mansion in the coveted Encino neighborhood of Royal Oaks. They also hold the co-listing to the $39.8 million Hollywood Hills mansion built for Full House creator Jeff Franklin. “Good product that is priced correctly is selling,” Josh says. “I think we’ll continue to see buyers move quickly and aggressively for the right properties.”

Cindy Ambuehl

CHRISTIE’S INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

It was another stellar year for former actor Ambuehl, who totaled $355.9 million in sales year-to-year. Her standout deals included the $25 million sale of David E. Kelley and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Pacific Palisades estate; representing Kevin Nealon (also in the Palisades); and the sale of a Frank Gehry-designed Santa Monica home to Jason Blum. Ambuehl is heartened by the continuing recovery of the Palisades and Malibu. “There is real momentum returning to the Westside,” she says. “You can feel people becoming excited about the future of these communities again.”

Santiago Arana

THE AGENCY

Known as the ultimate closer, Arana continues to be a major player in the market. In May, he represented Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff in their purchase of an $8.15 million beach house in Point Dume, Malibu. “I genuinely believe this is one of the best times to be a buyer in Los Angeles,” he says. “The city is due for a strong comeback, and when that happens, these opportunities will be gone.”

Rochelle Atlas Maize

NOURMAND AND ASSOCIATES

Claiming more than $3.5 billion in career sales, Atlas Maize is known for her innovative media campaigns. Big closings this year included the $22.5 million sale of the historic “Roxbury Estate” in Beverly Hills, the onetime home of Casablanca director Michael Curtiz. “A million page views are wonderful,” she says. “One qualified buyer is better.”

Ernie Carswell

SOTHEBY’S INTERNATIONAL REALTY

After a messy split with Douglas Elliman, Carswell is thrilled that his team has found a new home at Sotheby’s. “I’ve learned the value of a true international company within our industry,” he says. With famous clients including the Chandler family and the late Raquel Welch, he now holds the co-listing for Angelina Jolie’s famed “Cecil B. DeMille Estate” in Los Feliz, on sale for $29.8 million.

Jordan Cohen

REMAX

Ranked the No. 1 ReMax agent worldwide, Cohen has long been known for his work with such A-list actors as Sylvester Stallone and more than 150 pro athletes, among them Reggie Miller, Shaquille O’Neal, Pete Sampras and Pau Gasol. He kept up his streak in 2026, scoring a big win with a major NBA star. “Selling Anthony Davis’ home in Bel-Air for $32 million was my most noteworthy sale for 2026 so far,” he says.

Chris Cortazzo

COMPASS

With $815 million in sales from July 2025 to July 2026, Malibu ace Cortazzo has been at the front lines of the area’s post-fire recovery. He now holds the listing to the storied $90 million Point Dume Mediterranean mansion featured on The O.C. “Fortunately, we don’t have the ULA [mansion] tax in Malibu,” he says. “That has been a real advantage for our market, particularly at the luxury level.”

Drew Fenton

CAROLWOOD ESTATES

With $9 billion in career sales, Fenton has attracted a starry clientele that includes Anthony Russo, James Packer, Eva Chow, Nick Candy and the estate of Bob Newhart. In May, he held the list on “The Peak,” a residential lot in Beverly Hills that sold for $31.8 million.

Sally Forster Jones

COMPASS

Forster Jones counts among her clients Candy Spelling, Barbra Streisand and Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Notable sales include a new Ramtin Ray Nosrati-designed Brentwood home for $24.38 million. In November, she became the recipient of the inaugural Compass Lifetime Achievement Award, given by Compass SoCal, for her years of success and contribution to the Los Angeles real estate industry.

Tomer Fridman

BEVERLY HILLS ESTATES

Known as “Hollywood’s agent of record,” Fridman is the Kardashian-Jenner family’s go-to broker. He recently held the co-listing for Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s Hidden Hills estate that sold for $12.6 million. His portfolio reads like a map of trophy properties in Los Angeles, including 620 Arkell Drive in Beverly Hills, sold at $100 million, and Bel-Air’s La Fin, which brought $99.95 million. “The most sophisticated buyers don’t necessarily want the biggest house,” says Fridman, who recently left Christie’s for Beverly Hills Estates. “They want the house that is a home in every sense of the word.”

Carl Gambino

COMPASS

As the Gambino Group continues its global expansion, it is hardly abandoning its L.A. base of operations. Major sales include the former Beverly Hills estate of Michael Caine and, later, Ricky Martin, which closed in December for $35 million. He also repped the buyer of Bruce Willis’ former $41.25 million Benedict Canyon estate. “Professionally, this has been my most successful year yet,” he says, “but what I’m most proud of is the team we’ve built.”

COMPASS

With clients including Kylie Jenner, Mark Wahlberg, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden, the THR list mainstay continues to find new ways to excel. “The most exciting evolution has been mastering target marketing and creative deal structuring,” says Glass, who notched $502.1 million in sales last year. “Helping clients secure great deals and build equity despite broader economic shifts has been incredibly rewarding.”

SOTHEBY’S INTERNATIONAL REALTY

With $1 billion in career sales, Go runs The Go Group, Sotheby’s No. 1 realty team in SoCal. Specializing in new development and investment opportunities, her team oversees the marketing for the 44-floor Park Elm Residences at Century Plaza, where they have sold $45 million worth of properties in the past nine months. “I believe the market will continue to be defined by nuances that affect each of the individual neighborhoods in Los Angeles,” she says.

RESIDENT GROUP

In 2025, the former Buying Beverly Hills star left The Agency to form the boutique brokerage Resident Group with Lauren Grauman and Adam Rosenfeld. They’ve emerged on the scene with a bang. In April, Grauman and Rosenfeld, alongside Bennett Bidwell, repped Guess CEO Carlos Alberini and his wife, Andrea, in their sale of Bruce Willis’ former Benedict Canyon mansion for $41.25 million.

THE BEVERLY HILLS ESTATES

The super team of Harris and Fahimian had another blockbuster year, accumulating a total transaction volume of $872 million. The duo now holds the most expensive listing in the world: the $400 million, 39-bedroom Chalon Estate in Bel-Air. “Wellness is the number one priority right now,” the duo told THR. “A great gym, sauna, steam room, cold and hot plunge and a dedicated recovery area are huge bonuses.”

James Harris

CAROLWOOD ESTATES

Now the head of Harris & Partners inside Carolwood, Million Dollar Listing’s Harris has said goodbye to his longtime partnership with David Parnes. In April, he sold Lizzo’s Beverly Hills estate for $11.2 million. With $275 million in deals in the past six months, he also successfully repped the seller of the $10.35 million Sherman Oaks abode purchased by Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song. Clients include Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, Robbie Williams and James Corden. “Today’s luxury buyer,” he notes, “wants a home that’s ready to enjoy from day one.”

DOUGLAS ELLIMAN

The Hollywood insider and former MTV VJ continues to rake in marquee sales in today’s overloaded market. With a celebrity roster that includes Rami Malek, Emilia Clarke, Maria Bello, Chris Weitz, Elijah Wood, Sonya Walger and Dan O’Shannon, Hohnen maintains a keen read on the zeitgeist. “The biggest amenity in L.A. right now is a mahjong room,” she says. “I’ve been playing for a few years, and it gives me great joy to see a room devoted to mahjong!”

Marci Kays & Jonathan Mogharrabi

CAROLWOOD ESTATES

In August 2025, Kays and Mogharrabi represented Brad Pitt in his purchase of David Keuning’s Outpost Estates enclave for $12 million and sold Pitt’s “Steel House” to Austin Butler for $5.2 million. In February, they also repped Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo’s sale of his Los Feliz home for $8.6 million. Says Mogharrabi, “It’s been exciting to see these neighborhoods continue to evolve and reach new levels.”

Aaron Kirman

CHRISTIE’S INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Since Kirman launched Christie’s SoCal operation in 2022, it has scaled to more than 300 agents across multiple offices. Three years later, it hit $4.2 billion in total sales volume. Kirman scored $912 million in sales from July 2025 to July 2026, including the recent $47 million sale of the Beverly Hills brutalist estate of Oakley founder James Jannard, which is tied for the highest-priced sale in Beverly Hills this year. He also sold a Beverly Hills home once owned by Mark Wahlberg for $22 million.

Craig Knizek

THE AGENCY

Knizek has generated more than $1.2 billion in career sales. In February, he represented Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song in the off-market sale of their Toluca Lake estate for $14.25 million. He also represented the buyer of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s $12.65 million Hidden Hills estate and sold the residence of legendary songwriters Alan and Marilyn Bergman. “As state housing laws encourage greater density, luxury is defined by personal space,” Knizek says.

Weston Littlefield & Alex Howe

CHRISTIE’S INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Littlefield and Howe helped spur post-fire redevelopment in August 2025, representing a foreign investor in acquiring nine oceanfront lots on Malibu’s La Costa Beach for more than $65 million. Their clients include Restoration Hardware CEO Gary Friedman, Saw franchise producer Oren Koules and, reportedly, Kristen Wiig. “There really isn’t another market quite like Los Angeles, because every neighborhood has its own identity,” Littlefield says.

Linda May

CAROLWOOD ESTATES

The venerable broker remains at the top of her game. This year, she held the co-listing on Tom Cruise’s former Beverly Hills estate, which billionaire financier Leon Black sold for $47 million in March in an off-market deal. In July, she made history selling the penthouse in West Hollywood’s Sierra Towers for a record-breaking $36 million. “The market has definitely slowed compared to the frenzy we experienced a few years ago, and buyers are taking more time to make decisions,” she says. “They’re thoughtful, selective and expect value. That said, the very best properties continue to stand apart.”

Gina Michelle & George Ouzounian

THE AGENCY

Michelle and Ouzounian have helped make the Valley a Hollywood hotspot. Celebrity clients include actor Daniel Wu and dancer Allison Holker. “We’re seeing buyers become much less tied to where they previously lived,” the team told THR. “Three of our recent sales in Encino were purchased by families relocating from the Westside and Newport Beach because they found they could get significantly more without sacrificing the Southern California lifestyle.”

Jade Mills

COLDWELL BANKER

“Every market presents opportunities,” says Mills. “It has been especially meaningful to continue helping clients achieve exceptional results in this more selective and more difficult market.” With more than $9 billion in career sales, she continues to make big deals. In March, Mills sold the Beverly Hills mansion of former Windsor Healthcare CEO Lee Samson for $30.3 million.

Michael & Myra Nourmand

NOURMAND AND ASSOCIATES

This year, the mother-and-son team brokered the sales of the former Malibu home of Barry Manilow and, later, Pink for $13.75 million and Tom Petty’s storied Malibu estate, which went for $11.2 million. “Not only was the property reminiscent of the Huntington Gardens,” Myra says of Petty’s place, “but it still had Tom Petty’s personality throughout, including his pre-wired studio. It was a piece of history that you could step inside.”

David Offer

BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY

“While there are still some buyers out there, they are not feeling any great sense of urgency; and as a result, they are moving cautiously and slowly,” says the veteran broker, who boasts career sales of more than $4.8 billion. “But now that the stock market has recovered nicely, the war is hopefully winding down and the summer is soon behind us, I am hopeful that market activity will pick up.”

THE OPPENHEIM GROUP

Selling Sunset star Oppenheim remains one of the most visible brokers in Los Angeles. Last fall, he sold Bella Thorne’s Topanga Canyon home for $4 million. He now holds the co-listing of the $88 million Bel-Air contemporary megamansion developed by Michael Chen’s Luxford Group.

David Parnes

CAROLWOOD ESTATES

This is Parnes’ first time on the list since splitting with partner James Harris. With $140 million in sales in the past six months, he seems to be handling the breakup well. His standout deals include the August 2025 sale of a $23 million Bird Street mansion featured in Entourage and Kevin Williamson’s Beverly Hills Post Office Estate for $21 million. “From a design perspective, we’re seeing a move away from homes that feel like museums,” he says. “Natural stone, warmer woods and homes with character are replacing the ultra-minimalist look that dominated for years.”

Lea Porter

THE BEVERLY HILLS ESTATES

In only four and a half years since returning to luxury real estate, Porter has surpassed $1 billion in sales. In April, she sold Daphna Ziman’s historic Beverly Hills Tudor-style estate once owned by Harry Warner for $27.25 million alongside co-listers Jade Mills and Joyce Rey. “A particular highlight has been representing the longtime Beverly Hills estate of Pat Boone,” she says of the past year.

Kurt Rappaport

WESTSIDE ESTATE AGENCY

The elusive King of Hollywood Brokers had another banner year with more than $1 billion in sales. An agent for celebrities including David Geffen, David Ellison, Tom Brady and Beyoncé and Jay-Z, in May he held the listing for producer Joe Roth’s Beverly Hills estate, which went for $21.5 million.

COLDWELL BANKER

The grande dame of Los Angeles real estate made her very first sale in 1974 — no less prestigious a property than the estate of Christina Onassis. More than 50 years later, the “billionaire’s broker” still loves what she does. “Every listing and client I work with excites me,” she says. Rey currently holds the co-listing (alongside Jade Mills) to Joni Mitchell’s former $26.99 million Malibu beach house.

The Shevin Team

It is a family affair for The Shevin Team, which is composed of Marc Shevin and his daughters, Sara and Hanna. Best known for their work in Hidden Hills and Calabasas, they have repped celebrities including Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Kaley Cuoco, Reggie Miller and Keyshawn Johnson. “Our dad has represented some area families for decades, and now we’re helping their adult children buy homes,” Sarah and Hanna said in a joint statement.

F. Ron Smith & David Berg

COMPASS

“The real estate market is currently in a standoff,” says Berg. “Buyers want a price that hedges against the economy. Sellers think their house is the exception to the economy. Everybody’s waiting for the other person to blink.” This stalemate hasn’t stopped the duo from having another successful year, with a sales volume of $645 million to prove it. “Social media has made it very easy to look like a top producer without being one,” Smith says. “Sellers figured that out, and now the first question we get in a listing appointment isn’t about marketing, it’s, ‘How many homes did you actually sell last year?’ That’s a healthy change.”

The Umansky Team

THE AGENCY

Mauricio Umansky has built his team around his family, including his daughters, Farrah and Alexia, and dad, Eduardo. Since Umansky founded The Agency in 2011, it has grown into a global brand, but Umansky’s heart remains in L.A. “The weather here in Los Angeles allows for year-round indoor/outdoor living, which makes for very innovative architecture,” he says.

With $1 billion in career sales, the duo has among the most impressive celebrity clientele in the business. They closed four transactions for Anthony Hopkins in the past year alone and represented Skechers founder Robert Greenberg in his record-setting purchase of the Melhill Estate in Brentwood for $53 million. “There’s something incredibly powerful about being able to meet someone over lunch in Beverly Hills and put together a deal that simply couldn’t happen the same way anywhere else,” Plaxen says.

CHRISTIE’S INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Wilder is the CEO of The Shelton Wilder Group at Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California, where she leads one of the few all-women luxury teams in Los Angeles. With an appearance on Shark Tank, a digital footprint of nearly 50,000 followers and a successful podcast, Wilder Possibilities, she has found innovative ways to build her brand and empower other female entrepreneurs. “We live in a digital-first world, and if you’re a ‘secret’ agent, you’re missing opportunities every single day,” she says.

THE BEVERLY HILLS ESTATES

Although the two are no longer romantically involved, the colorful duo’s professional life keeps swinging, with $1.6 billion in sales in 2025. Trusted by clients including Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez and Angelina Jolie, they have accrued $19 billion in career sales. The Williamses now hold the co-listing to Ardie Tavangarian’s $135 million Villa Siena and represented the mystery buyer who snapped up Joe Roth’s Beverly Hills midcentury modern for $21 million.
