Euromatch NPFL: Inter Lagos Seek Rebound Under Interim Coach As Nasarawa United Visits

Inter Lagos interim coach Olusanjo Olutayo will be aiming for his first three points as his side welcomes Nasarawa United in today’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) encounter.

Olutayo took charge following the resignation of Shakiru Giwa, who stepped down after a difficult start to the season.

The Lagos-based club currently sits at the bottom of the table with just two points from eight matches.

This follows a recent three-point and three-goal deduction for breaching NPFL framework rules during their Matchday 7 fixture against Katsina United on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Today’s fixture presents an early opportunity for the interim coach to make an immediate impact as Inter Lagos chase the vital points needed to climb out of the relegation zone.

To turn their season around, the team will require greater consistency, improved tactical organization, and stronger overall performances.

However, facing a Nasarawa United side equally desperate for a positive result promises to make this an eye-catching and fiercely contested fixture.
