6 Emmerdale spoilers for tonight as Jimmy's secret messages are unearthed

In tonight's episode of Emmerdale, Nicola is shocked as Carl stumbles across secret messages on Jimmy's laptop.

Meanwhile, Mandy makes a bold move as she desperately tries to keep her son Vinny out of prison.

1. Carl shares surprising news with Nicola

Carl tells Nicola that he's been planning a video tribute for Jimmy's funeral and has already found pictures and voice messages on his late father's laptop.

The mention of voice messages leaves Nicola wondering whether they'll shed new light on the secrets that Jimmy was keeping before he died.

2. Mandy tries to reason with Nicola

Mandy tells Paddy that she plans to visit Nicola, hoping that the café boss will speak up in Vinny's favour in court and help to keep him out of prison. She points out that Nicola went through a similar parenting ordeal when Angelica caused Heath's death, so may understand her plight.

When Mandy arrives to see Nicola and makes this comparison, though, there's a real danger that she'll make things worse…

3. Nicola plays the voice messages

Nicola braces herself as she browses through Jimmy's laptop and plays one of the voice files.

Will it expose Sadie's lies over her supposed reunion with Jimmy – or add weight to her outrageous allegations?

4. Vinny heads to court

Vinny makes his first court appearance and begs Mandy and Paddy not to attend.

Although Vinny is claiming that he'd rather be alone, he's relieved when Lewis wants to join him there. But is Lewis now having second thoughts over their relationship?

5. Robert continues to scheme

Robert puts on a show of concern as Gabby and Laurel complain of financial troubles at The Hide.

The schemer still has his sights set on taking over the business, but Gabby is blissfully unaware that she's turning to the wrong person for advice.

6. Graham pays a visit to Caleb

Graham and Kim fear that Joe could be tempted into further tit-for-tat revenge battles with Caleb rather than focusing on his baby son.

Taking direct action, Graham pays a visit to Caleb to seek reassurances that the feud is over, despite Joe burying Ruby alive. What response will he receive?
