Nathan Fielder has turned his unsettling brand of documentary-making on one of Silicon Valley's most notorious figures, with the official trailer for You Can See Everything showing him moving in with disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and interrogating her husband on camera.

The A24 film, co-directed by Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, has now revealed its UK release date with the documentary set to hit cinemas on 20 November. This follows its US theatrical opening on 16 October 2026.

The official trailer teases an unsettling stay for Fielder at Holmes's home where she lives with husband William "Billy" Evans. At one point, Fielder asks Evans if he was ever worried that Holmes was "scamming" him.

"100% but what does she have to gain from me?", Evans asks to which Fielder reminds him that he's from a wealthy family.

According to A24's official synopsis: "Thirty-four days before she's sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss."

The documentary follows Holmes, her husband Billy Evans and their children through the 34 days before she reported to federal prison in May 2023, with filming continuing across roughly three years. In the trailer, Holmes is seen in tears and maintaining her innocence.

Holmes was convicted of defrauding Theranos investors and sentenced to 11 years and three months in federal prison, a term she is currently serving in Texas. The film also captures Evans discussing plans to pursue a new version of the blood-testing technology that made Theranos infamous.

The project was made largely in secret and first surfaced with a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival, where it drew a mix of shock and acclaim from early audiences. It pairs Fielder, best known for the boundary-pushing series Nathan for You and The Rehearsal, with Oppenheim, the director behind documentaries Some Kind of Heaven and Spermworld.

Fielder admitted during a screening panel this week that neither Holmes or Evans have seen the film.

Fielder explained (via The Hollywood Reporter) that as they were trying to finish the movie, Evans "started trying to exert a level of control over the process that made it very hard to engage with him, and it was uncomfortable for us and also A24 and everyone. And I think we sort of had to stop — I think communication broke down basically, and we’ve been in that like state for a little bit. So it’s been challenging in that way."
