Fox News parts ways with Maria Bartiromo

Translate

FOX News Media, the parent of Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, said Thursday that it had parted ways with longtime anchor Maria Bartiromo.

“We thank Maria for her work over the lasts 12 1/2 years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,” a spokesperson said in a statement that did not elaborate further.

Bartiromo has been FOX Business Network’s global markets editor since joining the network in 2014. She hosted “Mornings with Maria” and “Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street” on Fox Business, while also anchoring “Sunday Morning Futures,” a business-focused Sunday morning show on FOX News Channel.

Bartiromo joined Fox from CNBC, where she hosted one of the network’s highest profile programs, “Closing Bell” and was the first person to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
