A Line of Duty immersive experience is coming to London in 2027 allowing fans to join the ranks of AC-12

Ready to catch a few bent coppers? It's time to join the ranks of AC-12 in the new Line of Duty immersive experience.
The BBC drama is getting its own new playable experience launching on the streets of London in 2027.
Line of Duty: Operation Echo will see players explore the capital while investigating their own anti-corruption case. In teams they will have to uncover clues, solve escape room-style puzzles, decipher riddles and wrestle with moral dilemmas as they piece together their evidence.
Information and navigation throughout the game will come in through a combination of physical evidence, video, audio and phone messaging.
The live experience will take teams of 2-8 players on a 2-to-3-hour journey, navigating a 4-5 km walkable investigation through London. Once it's over, players will be scored based on how they perform, with their result contributing to a leader board. Each team will also receive a personalised certificate featuring their score, accolades and a persona based on how they approached the investigation, from “Super Sleuths” to “Reckless Mavericks."
The experience is being put on by CityDays, the creators of Race Across the World: The Experience and The Traitors: Anywhere.

Following the announcement its founder, Tom Rymer, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing Line of Duty to life as our next experience in London.
"We’ve seen first-hand how exciting and rewarding it is for people to step inside and explore a world they know and love, and we can’t wait to give Line of Duty fans that same opportunity. We’re hugely excited to create something that feels authentic to the world of Line of Duty, while giving people a completely new way to experience it together.”

Line of Duty season 7 is set to return to the BBC in early 2027 and its stars have revealed it marks an end to the story to date.
In an interview with The One Show, Martin Compston said this latest series was "definitely the hardest" to film.
"It was a pretty brutal shoot, but I think it's because what we're trying to achieve is really ambitious," he said.
"The sheer amount of interview scenes in this one is something we've never done. So, just as a mental test [it was challenging].
"We really had to rely on each other when one of us is having a down day, just going like, 'I don't know how I'm going to learn an 18-page scene in the next couple of days'."
