Marcos confirms Lino Cayetano to replace Dave Gomez as PCO chief

SINGAPORE — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Sunday said People’s Television Network (PTV-4) General Manager Lino Cayetano would replace Dave Gomez as head of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), with the leadership change set to be formalized upon his return to the Philippines.
The president confirmed the impending change during a Kapihan interview in Singapore, citing Gomez’s appointment being bypassed by the Commission on Appointments (CA).
Asked about the transition, Marcos said an interim official would take over.
