A Palestinian was killed in the village of Hajja, located near Kalkilya in the West Bank, following overnight clashes with settlers, the Palestinian Authority's Health Ministry reported on Monday morning.

On Sunday night, the PA-run WAFA reported that three Palestinians were wounded during the clash, including two who were in serious condition after being shot.

WAFA reported that all three were transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.

The clashes follow an increase in settler violence in the past weeks against Palestinians, the most significant of which is the ongoing situation at Kusra in the northern West Bank.

In mid-August, dozens of settler extremists clashed with the IDF near Kusra after the military evacuated an outpost that was set up in the area.

Two settlers arrested on suspicion of involvement in Kusra attacks

Most recently, Israel Police has arrested two Israeli teenagers on suspicion of being involved in the recent attacks on Kusra.

According to the police, the first suspect, a 19-year-old from the Shomron area, was arrested first. During a search of his vehicle, police found several suspicious items, including an airsoft rifle, a knife, a penknife, and tear gas.

Later, the police also located the second suspect, an 18-year-old from the Jordan Valley area. The 18-year-old was in active mandatory IDF service.
