商務及經濟發展局局長丘應樺表示，香港電台會加強發揮公共廣播機構角色，以香港視角說好國家及香港故事。

廣播處長關婉儀表示，港台因應觀眾習慣做了不少調整，包括加強港台電視的新聞及時事內容，加強市民對「一國兩制」的認識，以及協助政府發放資訊。
