Lottery player scoops £5.8 million jackpot in Saturday’s draw

A single ticket-holder secured the £5.8 million jackpot in Saturday’s Lotto draw, while three other players won £1 million each.

The payout represents the third jackpot win recorded in September, following a £12 million sum won in the draw on 12 September, three days after a £7.8 million jackpot was claimed.

Saturday’s National Lottery Lotto winning numbers were:

Round 1: 22, 27, 38, 42, 47, 59 and the Bonus Ball was 31.

Round 2: 11, 15, 17, 31, 38, 46 and the Bonus Ball was 43.

The main jackpot winner matched all six numbers alongside the Bonus Ball, while the three players matching five out of six numbers plus the Bonus Ball took home £1 million apiece.

In Lotto HotPicks, which draws from the same selection of numbers as the main Lotto, nobody matched all five to win the £175,000 jackpot.

The winning Thunderball numbers were 04, 07, 12, 17, 37 and the Thunderball was 11.

While no players matched five numbers plus the Thunderball to claim the top £500,000 prize, three individuals secured £5,000 each after matching five numbers.
