NST CRIME WATCH: Fatal BYD Seal crash, police chase and cable theft arrests [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: A five-year-old girl was killed in a six-vehicle crash involving a BYD Seal along Jalan Kuching on Oct 10, in one of the week's most tragic incidents.
The girl was in the rear passenger seat of a Perodua Bezza driven by her 30-year-old father when the crash occurred as traffic moved slowly from the city centre towards Segambut.
Police said initial investigations found that the BYD Seal had rear-ended the Bezza, triggering a chain collision involving a Yamaha 135LC motorcycle and three other cars – a Nissan Almera, Toyota Alphard and Perodua Myvi.
The girl suffered severe head injuries and died en route to Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Her father injured his right hand, while the 33-year-old motorcyclist suffered head injuries.
The 24-year-old BYD Seal driver was admitted to a private hospital in Damansara for concussion treatment.
