2026 U-20 WWC: CAF Congratulates Falconets After Dominant Win Against England
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has congratulated Nigeria’s Falconets following their impressive round of 16 win against England at the 2026 FIFA U-20 women’s World Cup.
After finishing second in Group F, the Falconets thrashed England 3-0 thanks to goals from Tosin Rafiu, Janet Akekoromowei and Mary Mamudu.
It was the Falconets’ second win in four meetings with England at the U-20 women’s World Cup (two draws).
Commenting on the superb win CAF wrote on their X handle: “QUARTER-FINALS BOUND! 🇳🇬😍.
“Nigeria deliver against England to book their place in the #U20WWC last eight! 👏👏.”
