BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — A 64-year-old pedestrian was killed while four vehicles were damaged in a road crash at the junction of Magsaysay Avenue and Hilltop Street at around 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) said.

BCPO chief Col. Ruel Tagel said the victim was struck by an Isuzu closed van driven by a 48-year-old man after the vehicle allegedly experienced mechanical trouble while traveling downhill along Hilltop Street toward Magsaysay Avenue.

The van then collided with a Toyota Hilux pickup driven by a 28-year-old businessman and a Toyota Innova driven by a 21-year-old student, police said.
