Verve, a domestic payment cards and tokens brand, has announced Truecaller as a strategic partner for the ninth edition of VerveLife, themed ‘Ignite’, as the fitness event expands its lifestyle, technology and community focus.

The firm stated in a statement that the partnership is expected to strengthen the technology and lifestyle dimension of VerveLife, while providing Truecaller with an opportunity to engage consumers through a platform centred on active living, shared experiences and community.

Commenting on the partnership, Executive Vice President, Group Marketing and Communications, Interswitch Group, Cherry Eromosele, said the addition of Truecaller strengthened the technology and lifestyle dimension of this year’s VerveLife.

“VerveLife has always been about creating experiences that connect with people beyond the traditional boundaries of a fitness event. As we ‘Ignite’ our ninth season and take the experience to more communities across Nigeria, we are delighted to welcome Truecaller to the VerveLife family. Their focus on trusted communication and digital experiences complements our ambition to bring together technology, lifestyle, wellness and community in ways that are relevant to our audience,” she said.

VerveLife 9.0 has already taken place in Ikorodu, Ibadan and Enugu, with upcoming experiences scheduled for Surulere and Uyo ahead of the grand finale at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, on November 21, 2026.

Country Manager, Nigeria, Truecaller, Ogochukwu Onwuzurike, said the partnership provided an opportunity for the brand to connect with consumers through an experience that brings together different aspects of everyday life.

“Truecaller is pleased to partner with VerveLife 9.0 and connect with a community that values active living, shared experiences, and meaningful connections. VerveLife provides a unique platform where technology, lifestyle and community blend seamlessly together, and we are delighted to be part of that experience. We look forward to engaging with consumers in new and relevant ways while celebrating the connections that matter in everyday life,” she said.

The 2026 VerveLife journey will culminate in Lagos with a two-day experience. Day one, November 20, will feature a ‘Train the Trainer’ session and an industry-focused mixer, while day two will feature fitness activities, an obstacle course, masterclasses, a kiddies’ corner and appearances by fitness personalities and trainers in the morning, before an after-party after sunset.

The ninth edition also features the ‘Road to VerveLife 9 Stage’ pan-African competition, which gives fitness trainers, dance instructors, aerobics coaches, yoga and Pilates instructors, and other fitness enthusiasts an opportunity to earn a place on the VerveLife stage.

As VerveLife 9.0 continues across Nigeria, the partnership with Truecaller adds to the platform’s collaborations as the season builds towards its grand finale.
