Frosinone midfielder Giacomo Calò was the highest-rated Italy player in Serie A in the eighth round of 2026-27 fixtures that concluded on Sunday evening after netting for the second week in succession: Here is a look at the top 10 best-performing Italians from this weekend.

The eighth round of Serie A fixtures  began on Friday evening with Torino’s 3-2 victory at home against Monza and concluded on Sunday evening with Milan’s 2-0 win away against Udinese.

According to the latest set of player ratings, Frosinone’s Calò was the only Italian player to be given a rating of 7.5/10 or higher throughout the weekend’s fixtures.

He netted his side’s third goal in an eventual 4-4 thriller away against Atalanta on Sunday afternoon, the second week in a row that he has been on target and the second week in a row where the newly-promoted side have managed to score four in one game.

Several other Italians have been given ratings of 7/10, including Milan’s Bartesaghi, who impressed with his performance in an advanced position on the Rossoneri left flank during their 2-0 win over Udinese.

Among the other players to be rated at 7/10 or this weekend are Atalanta’s Marco Carnesecchi, despite conceding four against Frosinone, Lazio’s Mattia Zaccagni and Bologna’s Federico Bernardeschi.
