The European Championship is the only major darts title that still eludes Luke Littler, who arrives in Dortmund hoping to become just the third player – after Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen – to complete the set.

Standing in his way are the rest of Europe’s top players, including defending champion Gian van Veen and, riding high on the back of his World Grand Prix Darts win, Luke Humphries.

The German crowd could well play their part, given Littler's issues with booing this year, over what is set to be an enthralling four days of darts.

The opening rounds will be played out on Thursday, Friday and Saturday but things really step up a level on Sunday when the European champion will be crowned.

Darts always enjoys a big end to the year and 2026 is no different. Whether you're a casual viewer or a superfan, you can tune in to watch the continent's best players for free this week.
