Two Israeli teens charged with spying, carrying out tasks for Iran
Two Israeli teenagers were charged with spying and carrying out various tasks for Iran, Israel Police announced on Sunday.
The two minors, 14 and 16 years old, had been recruited through Telegram in June, the police stated.
The teenagers were offered payment in exchange for executing tasks for an anonymous individual who admitted to them that he was tied to Iran.
Among the actions they undertook for Iran were painting graffiti, passing along intelligence, and attempting to recruit additional Israelis.
One of the minors also pretended to be a soldier in an attempt to receive more tasks from the anonymous source.
