In a celebrity pairing no-one could ever see coming, Ann Droid and Mandy star Diane Morgan has been spotted sitting front row right near Jennifer Lopez. New footage has emerged from Stella McCartney's show at Paris Fashion Week, with both stars placed a person apart and even interacting at one point.

Despite the rain, fans were wowed by Morgan – also known for her comedic roles in Motherland and as Philomena Cunk – one writing on Instagram: "Queen Diane."

"I never had Philomena Cunk, sitting next to J-lo at Paris fashion week on my bingo card! But so glad its happened," another added, a third proposing: "Cunk 👏 on 👏 FASHION."

"Diane Morgan stole this for some reason," a fourth suggested, a fifth adding: "Putting philomena cunk front row is extremely iconic."

Meanwhile, another person joked: "Oh my god! Such a huge moment for J Lo," while a commenter referenced Cunk with a proposed conversation: "She's asking her what's more culturally significant her printed green dress as the first Google image or da Vinci's Mona Lisa."

Back in July, Morgan premiered her BBC series Ann Droid, which sees her play a robot who cares for an elderly lady (Sue Johnston) who is grieving her late husband.

The show attracted acclaim, with Digital Spy awarding it five stars, writing: "Ann Droid is sharp, witty and gorgeously funny. Dark undertones may weave in and out, but the heart and the laughter win out every time making it an absolute must-watch."

The series was a big ratings hit and has already been renewed for a second season.

Meanwhile, Morgan also remains busy with Cunk, with her comic character set to tackle the world of the big screen with Cunk on Cinema, interviewing names such as Benedict Cumberbatch and Mark Kermode.

"Cunk will attempt to demystify it all while sitting in lumpy seats with stale popcorn, asking herself where did cinema come from? And why? What does it want? And why can’t it tell us?" the synopsis teases.
