Organisers of the Headies Awards have confirmed new dates as fans eagerly look forward to the 18th edition scheduled for October 2026.

Organisers of The Headies Awards have officially postponed the 18th edition of the ceremony from October 23, 2026, to April 10–11, 2027.

The announcement means fans, nominees and other stakeholders will now have to wait several more months for one of Nigeria’s biggest music award events.

The 18th Headies had initially been scheduled to take place in October 2026, but the organisers have now moved the event to a two-day window in April 2027.
