The countdown to the January window is on as Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham all go in search of more high-profile signings. Arsenal may have been handed a sizeable new boost over Erling Haaland, while they are also reported to have made a move for Mexico wonderkid Gilberto Mora. The Gunners remain in pursuit of Julian Alvarez and continue to be linked with the likes of Antonio Nusa and Christian Kofane.

Manchester United are among the clubs rumoured to be battling for Giuliano Simeone, while JJ Gabriel has held more talks with Bayern Munich. Chelsea hope to win the race for Alex Scott and may have reignited their interest in Jules Kounde at Barcelona, but Lamine Camara could yet end up at Liverpool, who have their eye on William Gomes and Marc Bernal as they also keep a close watch on Kylian Mbappe’s situation at Real Madrid.

Tottenham are said to be pondering a huge January swoop for Endrick, as they also target Vangelis Pavlidis and Simeone, though appear to face stiff competition from Aston Villa. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Arsenal make move for Gilberto Mora

In case you missed it over the weekend - Arsenal are now said to have made a first move for Gilberto Mora.

The 17-year-old wonderkid is subject to significant transfer interest after featuring at a home World Cup for Mexico this summer.

Liverpool have been strongly linked with Mora of late, though Mexican publication El Porvenir now claim that it is Arsenal who have approached Club Tijuana over a deal.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Benfica are also credited with an interest in Mora, who is reported to have a release clause in his current contract valued at £21.2m.

Sounds like a bargain...

Arsenal handed new Erling Haaland boost

Could Erling Haaland really end up at Arsenal?

It is hard to believe, but the outcome of Manchester City’s ongoing appeal against the guilty verdict returned by an independent commission last month on 114 of their 115 Premier League charges will surely have a decisive say on the future of arguably the world’s best striker.

It has previously been reported that Haaland could leave City next summer regardless despite only signing a new long-term contract last year, with a high-profile move to LaLiga said to be top of his wishlist amid long-standing interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, Football Insider now claim that a desire to break Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goal record could yet convince the Norwegian superstar to stay put in England.

Man Utd stance on sacking Carrick revealed after 40-year low

Manchester United reportedly have no plans to sack Michael Carrick after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham condemned the club to their worst start to a league season for 40 years.

The struggling Red Devils were comfortably second best to a Spurs side who sat winless and bottom of the Premier League table ahead of Saturday evening’s high-profile fixture at Old Trafford - with Roberto De Zerbi’s team having taken five matches just to score their first goals of the campaign despite a lavish summer transfer spend in excess of £300m.

However, United appeared to be on course for a valuable victory - just their second in six top-flight games so far this term - after Bryan Mbeumo broke the deadlock 17 minutes from time.

Liverpool learn new asking price for William Gomes

Liverpool will have to pay £85m if they are to sign William Gomes.

The Reds have been strongly linked with the Porto winger of late, with suggestions that he could even be the new Luis Diaz.

Fierce rivals Manchester United are also said to be interested in Gomes, a 20-year-old Brazilian youth international.

But per A Bola in Portugal, Porto have now increased Gomes’ release clause at the Estadio do Dragao to €100m in a bid to ward off interest in his services.

JJ Gabriel holds new Bayern Munich talks

JJ Gabriel has held fresh talks with Bayern Munich, according to reports.

The 15-year-old sensation stunned Manchester United last month when he informed them of his desire to leave the club with immediate effect, just days before he would have been handed a likely senior debut by Michael Carrick in the Carabao Cup.

He has since been subject to interest from several huge clubs around Europe, with Bayern now said to have held more discussions with his representatives, per Sky Germany.

However, the reigning Bundesliga champions have apparently not made an official offer to Gabriel’s camp having not received a firm commitment amid fears that he prefers a switch to either Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Arsenal hijack Liverpool with Gilberto Mora bid

Arsenal have reportedly made an opening approach for Gilberto Mora.

The Mexico wonderkid, 17, is attracting huge transfer attention from across Europe after a terrific start to his career that has already seen him earn 13 senior international caps and feature at a home World Cup this summer.

Liverpool had been heavily linked with a move for Mora in recent weeks, though Mexican outlet El Porvenir now claim that Arsenal have approached his current club Tijuana over a potential transfer.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Benfica are also said to be eyeing Mora, who is reported to have a release clause in his contract valued at just £21.2m.

Man Utd could bank Scott McTominay transfer windfall

Manchester United could receive a transfer windfall from the sale of Scott McTominay.

The Scotland midfielder has thrived since leaving Old Trafford for Serie A giants Napoli in a £25.7m transfer in the summer of 2024.

The Daily Star now report that McTominay - who on Saturday made his return to Napoli action four weeks after heart surgery in their 3-0 home win over Frosinone - is attracting further interest from clubs around Europe, including Real Madrid.

Napoli are rumoured to be struggling to agree new contract terms with the 29-year-old, on whom Man Utd are understood to retain a 10 per cent sell-on clause.

Arsenal handed boost in Erling Haaland race

Arsenal are also said to be among a number of heavyweight European clubs closely monitoring Erling Haaland’s situation at Manchester City.

Haaland’s future at the Etihad Stadium - along with that of several other top City stars - has become subject to intense speculation since the club were found guilty by an independent commission of all charges related to breaches of the Premier League’s financial regulations between the 2009/10 and 2017/18 seasons.

City deny any wrongdoing and have appealed against the verdict.

According to Football Insider, Arsenal are included in the list of clubs keeping close tabs on Haaland’s situation, though face stiff competition from the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

They speculate that Haaland’s desire to break Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League scoring record could be a decisive factor for Arsenal.

Arsenal close to finalising triple deal

Arsenal are close to a triple deal that will see them finalise new contracts for three key players, reports suggest.

The Gunners earlier this week announced that manager Mikel Arteta had put pen to paper on a new four-year contract in north London that will run until the summer of 2030.

That was quickly followed by claims of a new bumper deal for Declan Rice that will take him close to Arsenal’s top earner Bukayo Saka.

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal are now hopeful of finalising new deals for Rice, captain Martin Odegaard and versatile defender Jurrien Timber during the November international break.

Real to sanction Mbappe exit

Fichjaes reports that Real Madrid are willing to consider Kylian Mbappe's departure after being disappointed by his behaviour this season.

The French striker's conduct has raised concerns at the club and created uncertainty over his long-term future. Real are now open to parting ways with Mbappe if the right opportunity emerges.
