‘Cult’ release date out: Find out when is Vishwak Sen’s upcoming action thriller releasing in theatres

Telugu actor Vishwak Sen known for his unique and unconventional style of cinema has multiple projects in his lineup. One of them includes the upcoming action thriller ‘Cult’ which he will be leading as well as directing.

The makers have now announced the film’s release date.

Vishwak Sen’s ‘Cult’ release date

The makers have now announced that ‘Cult’ will hit the screens on October 30, making it Vishwak Sen’s second theatrical release of the year before the political thriller ‘Legacy’ which is set for a December 4 release.

Along with the release date announcement the makers shared a 45-minute promo showing Vishwak Sen in an intense avatar. It shows him with rage and in a violent killing spree.Vishwak Sen has been experimenting with different subjects throughout his career. For ‘Cult’, he is not only playing the lead role but has also provided the story and screenplay. The actor is reportedly playing a negative-shaded character for the first time.In February the makers also shared a teaser of the film, which shows that it is set in Goa where a group of three friends plan to enjoy clubbing during their trip.

They get passes for a Cult party. During the party, a virtual host begins a game which soon takes a dark turn. The game becomes a mass killing event.

Cast of ‘Cult’

Speaking of the cast, Gayatri Bharadwaj plays the female lead, while ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ actor Tarak Ponnappa also has an important role. The cast also includes Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyengar, Karthikeya, Anirudh Bhaskar, Yagnya Turlapati, Kabeer Bhartiya and Chepuri Vivek.

Technical team of ‘Cult’

Popular filmmaker and writer Tharun Bhascker has penned the dialogues for the film. Ravi Basrur is composing the music, while Arvind Vishwanathan is handling the cinematography. Ravi Teja Girijala is the editor, while production designer Arvind Mule is creating the film’s detailed visual world with elaborate sets.

‘Cult’ to release in five languages

The makers are planning to release ‘Cult’ in multiple languages. Along with Telugu, the film will be released in Hindi, English, Japanese and Spanish.
