An Se-young won her third consecutive French Open title on Sunday, claiming her 10th trophy of the season and extending her winning streak to 50 matches.

The world No. 1 came back from a game down to beat India’s Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, ranked 11th, 16-21, 21-11, 21-12 in the women’s singles final of the Badminton World Federation’s Super 750 French Open, held in Tremblay-en-France, just outside Paris.

The victory gave An her fourth French Open title overall.

Apart from a silver medal at the All England Open in March, the 24-year-old South Korean has taken gold in the individual event at all 10 tournaments she has entered this year, including the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. She has won 50 straight matches since losing to world No. 2 Wang Zhiyi of China in the All England final, her only defeat of the season.

An is 66-1 across 67 matches this year, a winning percentage of 98.5 percent.

Sunday’s win was also her 48th international singles title, adding to a record she set at the Denmark Open on Oct. 18. With her 47th title there, she passed the previous mark of 46 held by Indonesia’s Susi Susanti.
