Emerging artiste BLACQ GOAT targets December for ‘A Coaster’ release

Ghanaian emerging artiste BLACQ GOAT, born Fredrick Amankwah Acheampong, is set to release a six-track project titled A Coaster in the first week of December 2026.
The project’s rollout will begin with the release of THROAT, featuring fellow artiste MEAK, on October 28.
BLACQ GOAT, whose stage name represents “Black greatness”, says his musical journey is driven by hard work, resilience and a commitment to excellence.
“I strive and put in work to be great,” he said, explaining the philosophy behind his stage name.
The upcoming project is expected to explore different themes and sounds, with the artiste indicating that each song will carry its own meaning and message.
“The Coaster would have six songs in there,” he said, urging fans to look forward to its release in December.
The lead single, THROAT, features MEAK, whose talent BLACQ GOAT says he had admired before approaching him for the collaboration.
According to BLACQ GOAT, the song carries a positive message towards the opposite sex, making it a fitting release for the season.
“Big thanks to MEAK. He is such an amazing talent. I admired his talent ability from far and reached out to him; the rest is history,” he said.
To introduce the project to a wider audience, BLACQ GOAT plans to combine digital and traditional promotional platforms to showcase his music and artistic identity.
He expressed confidence in his prospects, citing his resilience and work ethic as key to his growth.
“My resilience and work ethic would have me going a long way,” he said.
The artiste also promised continued development, saying he was committed to improving his craft and delivering quality music.
“BLACQ GOAT is evolving every day and they should expect nothing but greatness,” he said.
