Celebrity Traitors star King Kenny brands himself and fellow Traitors an "unstoppable trio"

Translate

Celebrity Traitors star King Kenny reckons the Traitors have got what it takes to snag this season's top prize. Season one of The Celebrity Traitors saw lone Traitor Alan Carr win big, despite being dubbed one of the "worst Traitors of all time" due to his seeming inability to keep his identity on the downlow.

However, he still managed to pull the wool over the eyes of his star-studded castmates long enough to win the cash prize for his chosen charity.

This season, Richard E Grant didn't have the same luck, becoming the first Traitor and the first celebrity to be voted out at the roundtable after, for some reason, telling everyone he was a Traitor when asked.

There are still three Traitors in the game – OG Traitor Maya Jama, and her recruits, James Acaster and King Kenny.

Social media star and boxer Kenny was the latest celeb to don the famous green cloak in the turret after recruit Hannah Fry was banished.

Despite the Faithfuls already voting out two Traitors, Kenny firmly believes the Traitors are an "unstoppable trio."

During a Twitch stream, he admitted, "I’m enjoying being a Traitor. It’s fun," before saying: "I think we’re an unstoppable trio. I’m just being real."

He was also joined by his friend and Celebrity Traitors season one star, Niko Omilana, who called him and tried to catch Kenny out by asking if he "wins the whole thing".

The YouTuber responded: "I’m not having that. I’m not, I’m not. Niko – what is he doing there? What is he doing? I can’t believe it, man. I can’t believe he tried getting me."

Last Friday's episode ended on an almighty cliffhanger, with the Traitors tasked to murder one of the Faithful in plain sight.

Host Claudia Winkleman instructed the trio to "bore a Faithful to death", tasking them to spray a deadly perfume into a room of their choice, get a Faithful to yawn in said room, and then asking them, "Am I boring you?" before saying their name to seal the murder.

Ross Kemp and Jerry Hall found themselves in the firing line at the end of the episode, though it remains unclear if either will fall victim to the Traitors.

The Celebrity Traitors season two continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
