The APC Youth Network West Africa has announced plans to inaugurate its Lagos secretariat on Saturday as part of efforts to mobilise young Nigerians for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The inauguration of the organisation’s national secretariat headquarters in Agidingbi, Ikeja, will also feature the inauguration of its executives, according to a statement signed by its Director of Media and Publicity, Lizzy Okoji, on Saturday.
The network’s Director-General, Olatunde Igbasan, popularly known as Tula Mania, is leading the initiative, which the organisation says is aimed at strengthening grassroots political mobilisation and youth participation ahead of the next presidential election, the release shared with PUNCH Online noted.
The group said it planned to extend its mobilisation activities to communities, campuses, markets and grassroots organisations to galvanise support for Tinubu and communicate the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Igbasan’s mobilisation efforts are also linked to his appointment to the Youth Mobilisation Directorate of the Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, according to the statement.
The network said the appointment would strengthen coordination between its activities and the party’s broader campaign structure.

It cited Tinubu’s remarks at the inauguration of the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, where the President reportedly said, “No one gets credit for an incomplete assignment.”
The group said the statement underscored its commitment to organising and mobilising young Nigerians in support of the President’s re-election bid.
The planned inauguration is expected to attract members of the APC National Working Committee, party leaders and other stakeholders, the statement added.
Humanitarian initiatives
Beyond political mobilisation, the organisation said it conducts a “weekly Friday food outreach in Agidingbi, Lagos, providing meals and food items to more than 1,000 beneficiaries.”
The network said it planned to launch its Federal Capital Territory secretariat in Abuja in the coming weeks to strengthen its presence at the centre of national political activities.
According to the organisation, it operates “across Nigeria and identifies Ghana, Togo and Côte d’Ivoire among the countries covered by its regional youth mobilisation objectives.
