Milan rotate for the Europa League with Alphadjo Cisse, Diego Moreira and Omari Hutchinson in a tricky trip to Michele Di Gregorio’s Bournemouth.
It kicks off at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth at 20.00 UK time (21.00 CEST).
The Rossoneri seem to be finding their feet at last under coach Ruben Amorim, earning a 4-0 victory away to RB Salzburg and beating Atalanta 3-2 at the weekend.
It was much needed after a stuttering start to the season, which included their 2-0 Europa League home defeat to Benfica.
Cisse scored a hat-trick in Austria and was left on the bench throughout the Serie A match, but returns here as a False 9 on his 20th birthday, because Goncalo Ramos, Samuel Chukwueze, Alexis Saelemaekers and Matteo Gabbia are injured.
He has support from Hutchinson, with Moreira and Ruben Loftus-Cheek taking wider roles.
Filippo Terracciano sits out a ban after his red card against RB Salzburg.
Bournemouth were one of the big surprises of the Premier League last season, finishing in sixth place just three points behind Liverpool.
While they’ve had a bad start domestically this term, only managing their first victory of the season against Sunderland at the weekend, the Cherries won both Europa League fixtures 2-1 away to Real Sociedad and 3-0 at home to Sturm Graz.
Their star man is Alex Scott, who was the subject of a bidding war between Chelsea and Manchester City, but he is out with a thigh injury sustained on international duty with England.
Eli Junior Kroupi is also still out of action, while Fraser Forster, Max Aarons, Julian Araujo, Juanlu Sanchez, Daniel Jevvison and Veljko Milosavljevic are not on their UEFA list.
Kluivert famously played for Roma and is the son of former Milan flop Patrick Kluivert.
Juventus-owned goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio is given an opportunity to shine.
This is the first competitive game between the clubs, but Bournemouth only wear red and black stripes because they were inspired by Milan in the 1970/71 season.
Bournemouth: Di Gregorio; Hill, Diakité, Antonio Silva, Truffert; Tavernier, Christie, Adams, Gannon-Doak; Evanilson, Kluivert
Milan: Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic, Estupinan; Moreira, Musah, Jashari, Loftus-Cheek; Hutchinson; Cisse
