National Rail is reporting that disruption will be expected until 10.30pm.

In a social media post, the operator said the incident was under investigation. It also proposed that the problem would be resolved by 8.15pm, but this has since been revised.

Customers are advised to seek alternative routes and tickets may be used at no extra cost on all London buses via reasonable routes.

The problem was first reported at around 7.11pm.

The Mildmay line was already due to operate a reduced service between November 2 and November 5, with trains after 10pm revised.

As of 9pm on Wednesday evening, the Central line was also operating with severe delays due to train cancellations, while the District line was subject to minor delays for the same reason.
