My Chemical Romance scored their first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week thanks to their reissue of their 20-year-old album The Black Parade — and they’re hardly alone.

Just this fall, we’ve seen three other top 10 reissues: The Beatles’ Rubber Soul 50th-anniversary edition (No. 4 re-entry, Oct. 17 chart), Mac Miller’s The Divine Feminine 10th-anniversary re-release (moving 159-10, also Oct. 17) and Beyoncé’s B’Day 20th-anniversary reissue (No. 8 re-entry, Sept. 19). Plus, Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black was reissued last month for its 20th anniversary and re-enters at No. 42 on the Billboard 200 this week.

So why are all these classic albums flooding back? On the new Billboard Pop Shop Podcast, Katie & Keith are breaking it down. Plus, we’re looking at some 2007 releases that could be looking at 20th-anniversary reissues next year.

Also on the show, we’ve got chart news on My Chemical Romance topping the Billboard 200, Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” scaring up a top 20 re-entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and friend-of-the-podcast JADE making her Hot 100 debut with “Angel of My Dreams,” thanks to last month’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
