Translate

EXCLUSIVE: Milo Hutton (The Night Agent), Booboo Stewart (Twilight franchise) and KaDee Strickland (Private Practice) have boarded The Thing in the Hall, a psychological horror thriller now shooting in Los Angeles.

Inspired by E. F. Benson’s short story, the feature is the first from writer-director Logan Kishi. The story revolves around Francis Assheton (Stewart), a psychology graduate student who moves into the isolated home of his longtime friend, Louis Fielder (Hutton). When Louis introduces Francis to his experiments in spiritualism, their shared curiosity takes a turn, drawing them into something neither fully understands.

Strickland portrays Claire Winter, the defense attorney tasked with investigating Francis’s account following a fatal incident. Kishi’s Darkbox Entertainment is producing the indie.

A recent SCAD graduate seen on Netflix’s The Night Agent, Hutton will be seen coming up in Jackson May’s indie drama Degrees. He is repped by Untitled Entertainment.

Known for his work in the Twilight and Descendants franchises and for starring in Freeform’s Good Trouble, Stewart is repped by Sovereign Talent Group and TSC Entertainment.

Strickland’s perhaps best known for roles on such series as Chicago Fire, Cruel Summer and Private Practice. Also seen in films like American Gangster, The Stepford Wives and Something’s Gotta Give, she is repped by Artium Talent, Mainstay Entertainment and Meyer & Downs.

A 22-year-old L.A. native who has directed at least seven shorts, Kishi is repped by Osbrink Talent Agency.
