Napoli will be without David Neres for this weekend’s trip to Venezia after the Brazilian picked up a muscle problem.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the winger came off the bench in the second half of Tuesday’s 3-1 Champions League defeat to Villarreal and has since felt muscular discomfort. The extent of the problem is not yet clear, and Napoli’s medical staff are still assessing him.
The club made no reference to Neres in its report on Thursday’s training session, but he will not be involved at the Penzo.

Allegri welcomes back Anguissa, Olivera and Alisson to Napoli team
It is another setback for Massimiliano Allegri, whose side have lost four of their first eight competitive games, their worst start in 17 years.
There is better news elsewhere. Frank Anguissa, Mathías Olivera and Alisson Santos are back in full training and available, while Favasuli and Vergara remain out until late November.
Allegri is considering changes, with Kevin De Bruyne expected to start on the bench and Lorenzo Lucca pushing to replace Rasmus Hojlund up front.
Venezia are bottom of the table without a point and will be led by new coach Davide Nicola for the first time.
