Romeo Beckham’s girlfriend Kim Turnbull given urgent rabies jab after dog attack

Romeo Beckham’s girlfriend Kim Turnball was forced to get a rabies jab after being bitten by a stray dog.
The 25-year-old model and DJ took to Instagram to update fans about the incident, which happened whilst her and her boyfriend were on holiday in Bali.
She explained to her 90,000 followers that she had been attempting to feed the animal when the food started blowing away from him. When she went to readjust the food, the dog bit her.

“I guess he thought I was taking it back,” she reasoned.
She added: “Best believe I went back and fed him a second time after he bit me. Now he's back. Is he apologising right now or does he want more food?”
In an update on the biting, Turnbull shared a screenshot of her Google search which read: “A stray dog bit me but the cut is literally a spec. It's so tiny, can I get rabies?”

The NHS states that you can get rabies from a tiny bite or even a small scratch if the animal is infected. The size of the wound does not matter; any break in the skin that lets infected saliva enter your body can transmit the virus.
After her online research, and concerned messages from family, friends and fans, the 25-year-old took herself off to a nearby medical centre to get the jab.
“The most on brand move I could have pulled,” she wrote in another update. “Rabies jab is on the way for all friends messaging concerned.”

The NHS website describes Rabies as “a rare but serious infection that's usually caught from a bite or scratch of an infected animal. It's almost always fatal once symptoms appear, but vaccination and early treatment can prevent it”.
Last month, the couple turned heads at an appearance at Burberry’s London Fashion Week show.
Beckham and Turnbull attended the event wearing cropped jackets from the brand, with Beckham in a black parka and Turnbull in a beige trench.
