Three winners of the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide contest are ready to take on the stage of their international competitions taking place in different Asian countries.

John Eriq Bonifacio and John Wayne Alba, who won their national titles at the recent staging of the male search, joined Raven Lansangan from the 2025 batch in facing members of the media at their send-off press conference held at LaVie Resort and Casino Manila on Aug. 31.

First to see action overseas is Lansangan, who waited more than a year since winning the Mister Pilipinas-Manhunt International title in last year’s national competition.

The Philippines first posted a victory in 2012, when June Macasaet  topped the 16th edition. Filipino contenders have also achieved podium finishes in the three most recent editions, in 2022, 2024, and 2025.

Manhunt International: Male Supermodel, the oldest international male search in the world, will hold the final competition for its 2026 edition in the Sri Lankan capital city of Colombo on Sept. 9.

Lansangan’s fellow Kapampangan, Bonifacio, a former migrant worker, will try to exceed the first runner-up finish posted by his predecessor Kenneth Marcelino at last year’s Mister Cosmopolitan pageant.

The fourth Mister Cosmopolitan pageant will be held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, with the final competition scheduled on Sept. 14. Bonifacio hopes to inherit the title from last year’s Taiwanese winner Shawn Lin, who attended the 2026 Mister Pilipinas Worldwide finals in Manila.

But perhaps the most pressured among the members of Team Philippines is Alba, who is on a mission to score a second consecutive win for the country at the Mister International pageant.
