UFC Fight Night start time for Waldo Cortes Acosta vs. Johnny Walker: Where to watch live on Paramount+

Waldo Cortes Acosta and Johnny Walker don't need much convincing to fight. The heavyweights rescue UFC Fight Night on nine days' notice after the card lost its original main event between Sean Brady and Gabriel Bonfim.

Cortes Acosta has made his career on such short-notice appearances. He rode that wave to multiple main card appearances and a No. 6 ranking. While his activity sparked two separate win streaks, the ex-professional baseball player now risks a third strike in as many fights.

Sign up for Paramount+ and watch UFC Fight Night: Cortes Acosta vs. Walker for no additional fee -- every UFC numbered event and UFC Fight Night is included with your subscription! Plans start as low as $8.99/month or $89.99/year!

Walker is taking a serious gamble, too. The popular light heavyweight, no longer forced to cut 40-plus pounds, showed flashes of his old self in his UFC heavyweight debut. However, he's reneged on his plan to slowly grow into his new weight class. Instead of fighting an unranked veteran like Marcin Tybura, whom he called out after knocking out Mick Parkin, Walker dives headfirst into the deep end on Saturday.

With UFC 334 and UFC 335 on the horizon, both of which feature heavyweight fights pivotal to the division, it's more important than ever for Saturday's headliners to make a statement.

UFC Fight Night also features a fight with ramifications in the women's strawweight division. Tatiana Suarez and Virna Jandiroba fell short in their first effort to win UFC titles. Whoever leaves Las Vegas with another victory puts themself in a strong position to challenge UFC women's strawweight champion, Mackenzie Dern. That's especially true for Suarez, who has never fought Dern before.

Below is how you can catch all the action on Saturday in Las Vegas. Also, be sure to check out our full preview and expert picks for the main event.
