Asian Games 2026: Full list of events where India has failed to defend its Hangzhou 2023 gold medals
Here is the list of events that India has failed to defend its 2022 Asian Games gold as of Day 10 of the Games on September 28.

Team India has had a middling start to the Asian Games 2026 so far.
Ten days into the competition, India has bagged only four gold and is currently sitting in 12th place in the medal tally.
In Hangzhou in 2023, India had finished a historic fourth with 107 medals. India will finish well short of the mark of 28 gold medals this time.
India’s four gold medals this time have come in women’s cricket, men’s and women’s kabaddi and the 10m air pistol mixed team. It has defended its 2022 medal in the first three events.

- Athletics - Men’s shot put
- Athletics - Women’s javelin throw
- Equestrian - Team dressage
- Shooting - Women’s 25m pistol team
- Shooting - Women’s 10m air pistol
- Shooting - Women’s 50m Rifle 3P
- Shooting - Men’s 50m rifle 3P team
- Shooting - Men’s 10m air rifle team
- Shooting- Men’s 10m air pistol team
- Shooting- Men’s 10m air pistol
- Squash - Mixed Doubles
Among events where India won gold in 2022, there are 14 more events that are yet to be completed.
