Emma Corrin says they're "more introverted" as they open up about love with Zachary Hart

Emma Corrin has opened up about their relationship with Zachary Hart and what they look for most in a partner. The Crown star Corrin and Jericho Ridge's Zachary began dating in 2025 after meeting while starring together in a production of Anton Chekhov’s play The Seagull.
They have been seen out in public together several times, but largely keep their romance out of the spotlight.
Speaking to Harper's Bazaar for their November issue, The Policeman's Corrin, who said that they have become "more introverted" and "more guarded" as they have gotten older, explained what love means to them, and the quality they value most in Hart.

"I think when you have someone who comes and interrupts you, sticks their foot out, makes you think differently, that’s amazing," they explained.
On the qualities they value most in a partner, Corrin said: "Their mind. Someone you belly-laugh with, who is constantly curious and evolving with you. He [Hart] challenges me all the time."
They went on to say they don't believe in love at first sight, but "when you know, you know".
It comes ahead of their role as Elizabeth Bennet in Dolly Alderton’s new Netflix adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.
Jane Austen's 1813 novel follows the story of the budding romance between Elizabeth Bennet and the wealthy Mr Darcy set in 19th-century England.

"Lizzy’s not afraid to face the world and to laugh at herself – I think I share that with her. I’m very interested in people, and I’m very ready to laugh at stuff," Corrin said, opening up about playing Elizabeth.
On endeavouring not to be daunted by the iconic role, Corrin added: "I try to put blinkers on and just be in the scene with the person, listen to them, tell the truth… [And] I avoid reviews. It’s fairly easy to go, 'These people love it,' and then when a bad one comes out, you’re like, 'I should never work again.'"
The November issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK is on sale from 8 October.
Pride & Prejudice is out on Netflix on 3 December.
