No drugs, violence evident in vlogger Hlun Solo's death
Investigators in Georgia say they have so far found no trace of dangerous substances or evidence suggesting violence in the death of popular Thai travel vlogger Hlun Solo in the capital, Tbilisi, in July.
Hlun's elder brother, Somsak Bootsri, posted an update on Monday on the investigation into his death.
He said Georgian authorities found neither sedatives nor tranquilisers, nor physical evidence of assault during the forensic autopsy.
However, an ethyl alcohol concentration of 0.33% was detected in the detailed examination, he wrote, using the Facebook name Klose Mos.
Very low levels of ethyl alcohol are found in most alcoholic drinks, but are often much higher in illegal alcohol. A blood level between 0.30% and 0.40% is regarded as potentially dangerous to life, according to Cleveland Clinic.
Georgian officials have said they will not draw any conclusions on the cause of death until all stages of the autopsy have been completed, he added.
"As of today, the family is still looking forward to clarity regarding the death of my younger brother," Mr Somsak wrote. All family members understood the procedures in Georgia took time.
The information was relayed to him by the Thai embassy in Turkey after Georgia updated Thai diplomats on Oct 6. The Thai diplomatic office in Turkey oversees Georgia.
Hlun, whose real name was Bowornthat Pengsuk, 26, was found dead in a hotel room in the Georgian capital on July 14. He was in the eastern European country to collect information for a new solo travel episode.
The body of the Kalasin native was sent back to Thailand in August but personal belongings found at the scene were kept for the investigation.
Hlun travelled the world alone, with almost 1.5 million viewers on YouTube and 4 million on his Facebook page following his journey.
