Dallas Cowboys cheerleader alum reacts to My Chemical Romance gun stunt, Ric will be OK & NBA flopping

Welcome to Screencaps, "America's Best Daily Column," as named by the readers. Screencaps, which publishes seven-days-a-week, is a mix of sports, pop culture, and emails from sane readers from around the world. This column isn't for the coastal elites. Give us a week to steal your heart. Our track record is pretty good. Let's have some fun.
The Cowboys cheerleaders are fuming mad over what My Chemical Romance did this week to their brand
They're so bent out of shape that they've slapped the band with cease and desist orders - a restraining order, to be exact – over this bit where lookalikes were brought on stage wearing what sure looks like Cowboys cheerleader outfits to get into a gun battle.

For a DCC alum like Stephanie Roberts, who danced for the team from 2015-2018, this is no laughing matter. In a TikTok video released Friday night, she wrote, "As a DCC alumni, I have a whole lot of nothing to say..."
Guys, she's mad.
"Let’s clarify one thing, the actual [Cowboys cheerleaders] were NOT present at this concert," she wrote in the caption.
Here's another part of the show where fake Cowboys cheerleaders are dancing onstage. It's unclear if the DCC is mad over this or just the gun routine. In the comment section, amateur lawyers are analyzing the case.
"If they didn’t introduce them as the Dallas cowboy cheerleaders they wont. The costumes are out on the mass market," some amateur lawyer named Colleen chimed in.
7 EASY HALLOWEEN COSTUMES YOU CAN PULL TOGETHER WITH ALMOST NO EFFORT
Some other woman named Sabrina says this is legal because we're days away from Halloween. "If they didn’t introduce them as the Dallas cowboy cheerleaders they wont [get sued]. The costumes are out on the mass market," she claims.
You get the point. We'll have to see how this plays out in court.

Are high school kids doing these White Lie Nights where you live?
This is what played out last night here in NW Ohio. You know what we didn't see on any of the white shirts or white hoodies? "I hate black girls." Nope, didn't see it.
I was rather shocked to see these messages on shirts worn by the Toledo Whitmer kids, but, maybe I'm just isolated here and not aware of what's going on in the real world. You tell me if I'm just not up with current trends.
Update on Ric Flair: He'll be OK
In case you didn't hear, the Nature Boy, 77, had a nasty fall on Friday, but his daughter assures us everything will be OK. That said, Ric was on Instagram saying something about blood clots like Jalen Hurts.
Screencaps readers have jumped on the $2 tip bandwagon
• Paul B. in Oxnard, CA takes me back to a Screencaps bit from June: I hopped on the $2 bill tip bandwagon. Mrs. Paul B. and I are in Nassau Bahamas for some nice R&R at an all-inclusive resort. Drinks are free but tips are appreciated and the $2 bill fits the (pardon the pun) bill perfectly.
Kinsey: For the new readers, back in June, for some reason, I ran a piece of content on tipping with $2 bills and how it's much easier than carrying around a bunch of singles. Then, I went on the golf trip with Canoe Kirk and Diesel from my text group where we exclusively used $2 bills and all the workers at the resorts were mesmerized. Not only were they making pretty good money because we were throwing them around like drunken sailors, but there was also the conversation element.
Give $2 bill tipping a try, especially if you're single and have trouble starting a conversation.
How to deal with all the political spam calls
• Shawn in Hellabama suggests: On the subject of political texts (and robocalls,) you gotta love that politicians placed a carve out in the Do Not Call list legislation where political ads were exempt from obey the list.
One thing though, I do love that in the new iOS settings, that if a number calls that is not in your contacts, you can set it that your ringer will not go off. Then after the fact, when I go to delete the text or the call log, I can try to report spam so that hopefully the number will not call my phone again.
I have enjoyed the Outkick column from almost the beginning, so thank you for the years of entertainment.
Kinsey: I've heard from a couple of readers this week who've said they've loved the column since the beginning. I assume they mean since it started appearing on OutKick. Now I want to hear from readers who've been with me for at least 15 years, since the Busted Coverage days.
Dump Dinner trend and Manners in America
• Tom T. emails: I have to agree with Chris from California. Manners are important, and seeing someone with good manners is refreshing. My mom and dad taught us good manners, but the one who drilled it in was Grandma. She would call us out at the dinner table for bad manners, and then she would lay into my mom (her daughter) for not raising us right.
In college, my roommate got a date with the hot girl that he had a crush on. I pulled him aside before the date, and told him NOT to hold his fork like a shovel, shoveling food into his mouth. I showed him the correct way to hold a fork. He was EXTREMELY grateful, because he just didn’t know. The date went well, and he may have gotten some make-out time due to his great table manners.
