Translate

Springbok Andre Esterhuizen has given the public a look at his dream home, being built in the coastal resort village of Umdloti in KwaZulu-Natal.

The 32-year-old, his wife Mabea and three children live in the province, where he plays for the Sharks.

The rugby player has recently made headlines over a news report of a racial slur he made at the age of 18 years old.

On his social media platforms, Andre Esterhuizen showed off a peek at his dream family mansion being built on the Salta Sibaya Estate in Udloti.

In a video clip, the property was seen being excavated before the foundation was likely put in.

“Start of a chapter: A new home for our family”, he shared.

Andre also shared a 3D visualisation of what the home would look like both on the exterior and interior. The picture-perfect home featured plenty of palm trees and a stunning view of the beach.

IS DURBAN HIS FOREVER HOME?

In 2013, Andre Esterhuizen moved to Durban at the age of 19 years old, to pursue a career with the Sharks.

During 2020–2024, Andrew played for the Harlequins in the UK.

He returned to KwaZulu-Natal, where he remains under contract until 2030.
