Police on hunt for suspect in KL Wholesale Market stabbing incident

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are tracking down a suspect who stabbed a worker at the Kuala Lumpur Wholesale Market here last Saturday.
Sentul district police chief Assistant Commissioner Anuar Bakri Abdul Salam said the case is being investigated under Section 325 of the Penal Code.
"The victim, who suffered injuries to his back, was discharged after receiving treatment at Selayang Hospital.
"The victim does not know the suspect, and further investigations are underway to trace the individual involved," he said in a brief statement today.
It was previously reported that a man was injured after being stabbed by an unknown individual while working at the Kuala Lumpur Wholesale Market.
