Sunday at Gillette Stadium carries two storylines before kickoff. Tom Brady walks back into Foxborough, the place where he built his career, only now he wears a headset instead of a helmet. And on the Fox Sports sideline, Erin Andrews will work her 300th NFL game as the Green Bay Packers visit the New England Patriots. Fox is rolling out its top broadcast team for the afternoon window. Andrews joined the network in 2012, and she has spent the years since stacking big events, new ventures and a loyal audience that grew right alongside her.

How Erin Andrews Went From ESPN Doubts To Fox Sports Fixture

Leaving ESPN after eight years was a real gamble. Andrews had worked college football Saturdays and hockey nights there, but she saw the ceiling. Monday Night Football was never offered. The night her exit became public, she called Chip Kelly, crying and unsure she had chosen right. He kept his answer brief: "Don't look back; just look forward."

She did. At Fox, Andrews became the first presenter of the college football studio show, then settled into the NFL and MLB work that now fills her résumé. That includes four Super Bowls (XLVIII, LI, LIV and LIX), 10 NFC Championship Games and the 2014 and 2015 World Series. In 2022, she became the first woman to win the Pat Summerall Award.

Congratulations to our very own @ErinAndrews, who marks an incredible milestone of 300 NFL broadcasts this Sunday! @FOXSports https://t.co/44DNce9EEB

Her current crew deserves some credit, too. Kevin Burkhardt, Brady and Tom Rinaldi work alongside her, a group assembled by Fox Sports president Brad Zager. Andrews says Zager built a culture where people want to stay. She has re-signed with the network three times, most recently before the 2025 season.

Why Erin Andrews Wants A Morning Show Seat Next

Football fills her fall, but not her whole calendar. Andrews co-hosts the game show 99 to Beat with actor Ken Jeong. Her Calm Down podcast with Charissa Thompson just reached episode 429. After a week filling in on NBC's Today show last year, she made her interest plain: "I would love to work for a morning show." She even named Michael Strahan as the kind of career she would like to follow.

The business side is growing just as fast. Wear by Erin Andrews, co-founded with SMAC Entertainment CEO Constance Schwartz-Morini, began with the 32 NFL teams and now reaches leagues from the NHL to WWE. Fanatics gave it a shot, and Costco has now signed on. Andrews says her favorite part happens on Sunday flights home, when she spots women wearing the gear.

Mike Tirico reaches 300 NFL broadcasts the same day, when he calls the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Chicago Bears on NBC's Sunday Night Football. Two milestones, one Sunday.
