Coach carrying German high-school students crashes in Netherlands

"Some of the victims taken to the hospital are seriously injured," the police department of Gelderland province said in a post on X. Other people suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The coach, which carried more than 50 people, according to a police spokesperson, crashed near the town of Wezep, some 100 km (62 miles) east of Amsterdam around 4 a.m. (0200 GMT) due to a collision with a delivery van, whose driver was among the injured victims.
The A28 highway was closed in both directions following the accident.
