Crowd:

Evan, Evan, Evan, Evan, Evan!

Evan:

How you guys feeling tonight?

Fan:

Woo!

Evan:

Yeah.

Tetris Kelly:

Hey. What up Evan, man? Long time no see.

Evan:

How you doing?

Tetris Kelly:

I’m doing good. I’m loving the jacket.

Evan:

Oh, thank you.

Tetris Kelly:

Yeah, you look great. You look great.

Evan Burke:

I like your jacket.

Tetris Kelly:

See, I’m trying to be like you when I grow up.

Evan:

Whoa. [Laughs]

Tetris Kelly:

[Laughs] Man, can you believe how long we’ve known each other? It was, like, four years ago we were here at the Grammy Museum.

Evan:

Four years, right?

Tetris Kelly

And now we’re back.

Evan:

It’s been a while. It’s been a while. I’m so glad to be here finally.

Tetris Kelly:

Oh, yeah.

Evan:

Yeah.

Tetris Kelly:

Well, we gotta catch up. Let’s go sit down.

Evan:

Let’s go.

Tetris Kelly:

Let’s do it.

Evan:

Yeah, yeah.

Tetris Kelly:

We’re right here in the middle of downtown L.A. Like, welcome back to LA, brother. Yeah. You’ve been really busy, so how are you feeling?

Evan:

[Laughs] It’s been awhile in LA, so I’m so glad to be here finally. I feel like recently, I’m busy. It’s a life.

Tetris Kelly:

It’s a cool life, I’ll tell you that.

Evan:

It’s a life. [Laughs]

Tetris Kelly:

And I mean, let’s start with, like, when you landed on being solo. How did you land with Evan?

Evan:

I decided to name myself Evan a long, long while ago when I was young. My friends … they are talking to me like, “Evan, Evan, Evan, Evan,” so that’s why I’m called Evan.
