Rajinikanth’s ‘Dharman’ team gears up for intense action sequence

Director Ashwath Marimuthu is working with superstar Rajinikanth on his upcoming thrilling family drama ‘Dharman’. The film is currently in the production phase and recently the director has now shared a new update from the sets.

He teased the team is gearing up for an action sequence.

Director teases an action scene in the making

Taking to X, Ashwath shared a picture of National Award-winning stunt choreographers Anbariv working on the sets. He wrote, “@anbariv masters at work (fire symbol) #dharman.” The update has hinted that the team is preparing for an intense action scene.

Makers share BTS from second and third sequences

The team began the third schedule of ‘Dharman’ on September 16. Ashwath had earlier shared a BTS clip featuring Rajinikanth and Raashi Khanna shooting for the film.

The clip showed Rajinikanth seated with his back facing the camera while having a conversation with Raashi Khanna.The second schedule of the film was completed on September 4. The makers shared a video from the sets which showed Rajinikanth playing a senior medical faculty member and lecturing junior doctors.

Talking about Rajinikanth’s character in ‘Dharman’, he will play a doctor who takes on criminals. The makers had earlier released a title poster showing the Superstar inside an operation theatre, holding a scalpel and standing over what appeared to be a slain rowdy sheeter.

Speaking about the team, it stars Raashi Khanna in an important role and has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Niketh Bommi is handling cinematography, while Pradeep E Raghav is the editor.The film is produced by Tamil veteran Kamal Haasan backed under his banner.

Interestingly, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth after ‘Dharman’ are reuniting for another project. Fortunately, for fans Kamal Haasan won’t only be backing the film but will also join as a lead. The film is tentatively titled ‘KHxRK’.Meanwhile, Rajinikanth will be next seen in the much awaited sequel, ‘Jailer 2’, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
