Asian Games 2026, Day 12: Indian results on September 30 — How many medals did India win?

India bagged four more gold medals at the ongoing Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, as the contingent finished the day on a total of 60 medals.

Here are all the results from events in which Indians participated in on Day 12 in Aichi-Nagoya:

ARCHERY

Compound Women’s Team – Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Chikitha Taniparthi and Prithika Pradeep – Won gold after defeating China in the final with a world record-equalling score of 238.

Compound Mixed Team – Chikitha Taniparthi and Sahil Jadhav – Won gold after defeating Korea. Also secured an LA28 Olympic quota.

Compound Men’s Team – Sahil Jadhav, Ganesh Mani Ratnam Thirumuru and Kushal Dalal – Won gold after defeating China 238-237 in the final.

BOXING

Women’s 60kg – Priya Ghanghas – Won bronze after losing 1-4 to China’s Yang Chengyu in the semifinal.

Women’s 75kg – Lovlina Borgohain – Advanced to the final after defeating Kazakhstan’s Natalya Bogdanova 3-2. Assured of at least a silver medal.

Men’s 90kg – Kapil Pokhariya – Won bronze after losing 1-4 to Uzbekistan’s Turabek Khabibullaev in the semifinal.

CANOE SLALOM

Men’s Kayak Single – Pradhyumna Singh Rathod – Finished sixth in the final with a time of 125.21 seconds.

Men’s Kayak Single – Hitesh Kewat – Eliminated in the semifinal after finishing 14th.

Women’s Canoe Single – Pallavi Jagtap – Disqualified in the final.

Women’s Canoe Single – Rina Sen – Eliminated in the semifinal after finishing ninth.

TRACK CYCLING

Men’s Sprint – Ronaldo Singh Laitonjam – Eliminated in the 1/16 finals repechage.

Men’s Sprint – David Beckham Elkatohchoongo – Eliminated in the 1/16 finals repechage.

Women’s Keirin – Sarita Kumari – Eliminated in the first-round repechage.

Women’s Keirin – Keerthi Rangaswamy Chikka – Finished 10th overall after qualifying for the classification race for places 7-12.

ESPORTS

MOBA (League of Legends), Group B – India (Mihir Ranjan, Akshaj Shenoy, Aakash Shandilya, Rahul Bisht, Sanindhya Malik and Ahmed Shahid Israr) – Lost 0-1 to Hong Kong, China; 0-1 to Republic of Korea; and 0-1 to Chinese Taipei.

GOLF

Men’s Individual Stroke Play, Round 1 – Saptak Talwar – Carded a four-under 66 to finish tied second.

Men’s Individual Stroke Play, Round 1 – Veer Ahlawat – Carded a one-over 71.

Men’s Individual Stroke Play, Round 1 – Yuvraj Sandhu – Carded a one-over 71.

Men’s Team, Round 1 – India – Tied fifth at three-under.

Women’s Individual Stroke Play, Round 1 – Pranavi Urs – Carded a four-under 66.

Women’s 48kg – Asmita Dey – Lost to Narantsetseg Ganbaatar by waza-ari in the bronze-medal bout.

Women’s Quadrant, Group A – India lost 0-2 to Vietnam (7-15, 8-15) and 1-2 to the Philippines (17-16, 10-15, 12-15).

Men’s Quadrant, Group A – India defeated Laos 2-0 (15-9, 15-8).

SHOOTING

Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol, Qualification Stage 1 – Anish Bhanwala – Scored 290. The second stage and final will be held on October 1.

Trap Mixed Team – Neeru Dhanda and Kynan Chenai – Won gold medal.

SQUASH

Women’s Team, Quarterfinal – India defeated Singapore 2-0 to enter the semifinals.

Men’s Team, Quarterfinal – India defeated Kuwait 2-0 to enter the semifinals.

TENNIS

Men’s Singles, Third Round – Dhakshineswar Suresh – Lost 3-6, 4-6 to Chinese Taipei’s Tseng Chun-hsin.

Men’s Singles, Third Round – Sumit Nagal – Defeated Uzbekistan’s Sergey Fomin 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the quarterfinals.

Men’s Doubles, Quarterfinal – Anirudh Chandrasekar and N. Sriram Balaji – Lost 7-6(4), 6-7(7), 8-10 to China’s Jiang Fumin and Zhang Tianhui.
