Mavo releases vibrational tune 'Goyard'

Translate

Nigerian music sensation Mavo has released his new single, Goyard, following weeks of attention around a snippet online. The clip took off because of the street phrase “I no wan see sapa,” keen on avoiding financial hardship.

The song takes its name from the French luxury house, and Mavo ties the brand to themes of wealth, luxury and ambition. He mixes in Nigerian street slang, including “sapa,” the familiar word for being broke. It follows his recent release Shenk Me with DJ 808.

Mavo, a sensation artist who doubles as a medical student, broke through with Escaladizzy. He calls his sound “Burbur Music” and has built his own slang vocabulary around it, which he calls “Bizzylingua.” In July 2026 he released Business, a 13-track project which has become one of the interesting drops of 2026 in the Nigerian music industry.

His 2026 run has also included a two-track pack, Hey Mama and Aura Salad, produced by SSSoundGawd. Goyard leans towards atmospheric textures, with elements of EDM and alternative R&B.
