GTA 6 Leaker Announces Plan To Release Full Game To The Public

Grand Theft Auto 6 has recently been subjected to a series of leaks showing off significant portions of the gameplay and story, and the individual behind these reveals, Cyberleek, is now making a big threat to Rockstar Games. So far, Cyberleek's GTA 6 leaks have covered everything from melee combat to a nudist camp, unveiling plenty of information that Rockstar hasn't shown in the official marketing material or gameplay deep dive.
It's all made for a media heyday, but it hasn't necessarily had any major effect on the hype train for the game one way or the other. If Cyberleek's latest statement is more than a bluff, that could all just be the tip of the iceberg.
A new update to Cyberleek's website, titled "The Offer," puts forward a set of conditions for the potential leak of a playable campaign build. Cyberleek has been using the GTA 6 leaks to promote a cryptocurrency, and if that coin (CYBERLEEK) reaches a "30 million marketcap," they'll allegedly release the build in question.
Aside from the potential that this is all a bluff, Cyberleek also offers an ultimatum for GTA 6 publisher Take-Two Interactive to prevent the leak. If the company chooses to release "physical disks and a public apology," the threat will be rescinded. Cyberleek doesn't appear to have much faith in this possibility, however, saying that "Everyone knows which one they'll pick."
There's a chance that Cyberleek seriously intends to release a playable build of GTA 6, as the leaker's continued activities imply that they feel safe from legal repercussions. At the same time, it's hard to take the moral posturing seriously. As Cyberleek themselves admits, they don't seem to expect Rockstar to take the deal, so dragging the argument about physical discs into the equation might just be a way to frame the threat as something more noble than an attempt to profit off of cryptocurrency.
If there's any lingering doubt about the virtue of Cyberleek's intentions, the leaker's other recent announcement focuses on an even more mercenary approach to raising the market cap of their coin. If it reaches two million, they promise to leak GTA 6 co-protagonist Lucia in a bikini, then remove more of her clothing with each successive market cap achievement. The final offer, in exchange for a six million dollar market cap, is "4K closeups, fully naked."
In short, it's probably better to just wait another month for the game than feed into the relatively distasteful schemes at play here. Nonetheless, it'll be interesting to see if Rockstar ever officially addresses the current situation, or simply ignores it to focus on promoting Grand Theft Auto 6 before its release on November 19.
