Translate

The Madame Blanc Mysteries returns for season 5, bringing Sally Lindsay's sun-soaked antiques caper back to the fictional French village of Sainte Victoire for a brand new run of murders, mischief and marital planning.

Created and co-written by Lindsay, the comedy-drama's latest instalment follows antiques expert Jean White and her partner Dom Hayes as they plan their wedding, only for a string of unseen obstacles, and bodies, to get in the way.

Over seven episodes, including a Christmas special, a corpse turns up in one of the show's iconic locations, Uncle Patrick hosts an epic pub quiz at La Couronne, Judith and Jeremy face a heart-wrenching dilemma, and gangster John Marsden unleashes his full wrath, all while viewers wait to see whether Jean and Dom will finally make it down the aisle.

The familiar regulars are joined by a line-up of guest stars drawn from across British comedy and entertainment, including Bonnie Langford, Justin Moorhouse, Lesley Joseph, Jason Manford, and more.

Of the new arrivals, Lindsay said: "Victoire has attracted some absolute stellar stars who have all been absolutely fantastic. We are so thrilled with this series and love that the world of Madame Blanc gets bigger and better every year."
